Marca Tanner Brewington
-
Marca became licensed to practice law in Wyoming in 2021, after having practiced in northern Utah for 11 years. Before joining Wylie Baker in 2024, she had worked in private practice in family law, civil litigation, and misdemeanor criminal defense, and as in-house counsel at a major exercise equipment manufacturing company. She currently supports the partners at Wylie Baker in business and real estate transactions, land use issues, and with HOAs in covenants, conditions and restrictions development and interpretation.
Though Marca only returned to western Wyoming in 2022, her roots in Jackson Hole are deep. Marca’s great grandparents were early homesteaders in the valley, and her great grandmother, Juliane Hammond Tanner, was the first county clerk in Teton County when it was formed in 1921. Marca enjoys working in real estate and supporting business development in the same place her family lived for nearly a century.

She is the mother of 4, stepmom of 5, and grandmother of 12. When she’s not working, you can find her attending the ballet in Salt Lake City, exploring the country with her husband, Tim, and their fifth-wheel trailer, or porch-sitting at home in Star Valley with her two cats, Choncho and Barney.
